ElsaCookz is close. The app is real, it runs on device, and we are working through the final round of build issues, failures, and design polishes before we can submit to TestFlight and then the App Store. This is no longer just an idea — it is a product. We will be inviting waitlist members to test first. Thank you for being here while we push through the final stretch.
After more than a year of prototyping, fundraising attempts, and laying the groundwork, we made the decision to start building the real version of ElsaCookz in September 2025. The first version of the app entered active development. What you see today — the recipes, the inventory system, the AR scanner, Ask Elsa.ai — all of it started here.
Between incorporation and the start of full development, ElsaCookz went through numerous prototypes and design iterations. We explored what the app should and shouldn't do, tested ideas with real people, and gradually narrowed down to the focused product we are building today. None of that time was wasted — every prototype taught us something that shaped what Elsa is now.
ElsaCookz received SEIS (Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme) advance assurance from HMRC on 19 August 2024. This means early investors can benefit from significant UK tax relief on their investment, with the intention to progress to EIS as the company grows. We are actively working to bring investors on board to accelerate development.
The ElsaCookz trade mark was registered in the United Kingdom on 16 August 2024. Protecting the brand early was a deliberate decision — we are building something we intend to be around for a long time, and the name matters. The mark covers our core product and service categories.
ElsaCookz Limited was officially incorporated on 16 May 2024. What began as a genuine frustration — too much food wasted, too many decisions at dinner time, too many apps that don't talk to each other — became a registered company with a clear mission. The journey from idea to product has not been straightforward, but we are still here and closer than ever to putting Elsa in your hands.
